Wow, I can hardly believe it’s November already! We have really got to get better at this blogging stuff! We have had so many awesome services over the past month…God has really been good to us! A big “thank you” goes out to all the churches that have been so gracious to open up their doors to us. We are truly humbled and grateful for the opportunity. We have several Christmas concerts coming up in December; hopefully there will be one close enough for you to join us! We are also booking for 2010, and would love to come to your church. We are looking forward to reacquainting with old friends, and getting to know new ones along the way. We are currently booking for our 2009 Christmas Tour in November and December. We have already received phone calls from several churches inquiring about scheduling Christmas services or banquets. We are looking forward to this new adventure because it is a new avenue of ministry for us. We've never done a specific Christmas program but are currently working on one that will be fun while sharing the true meaning of Christmas. Please feel free to contact us with your dates for 2009. Wow! I can't believe we have not updated our blog since August 24th . . . we'll try to do better from now on. It has been a great month and things are going well for the group! This past weekend we had the privilege to go back to a couple of our favorite churches and being with some of our "home family." We were at Eastside Baptist in Sumter, SC and Mt. Pisgah Baptist in Pageland, SC. We love the people of these congregations and are always so welcomed when we get the opportunity to go minister there. This Sunday we will be meeting new friends at White Oak Baptist Church in White Oak, NC. This congregation will be celebrating 150 Years . . . WOW! ( I wonder if any of the original members still attend . . . haha!) We can't wait!!! On a personal note. We are all doing well. Cayce and Joy are working hard (although Cayce is about to be on a 3 week Fall Break) and I have been working hard with my kids and our business too (plus I had jury duty this week . . . and was chosen for a jury . . . AND served as the forewoman . . . quite interesting!). We are looking forward to all that is in store for the rest of the year and new opportunities that are coming our way. It's Monday morning and I am overwhelmed with the events of the past 24 hours. I'll start with my personal Monday . . . my little boy - Adan - started preschool today. He's almost 3 and will be going 3 days per week. I'm convinced it's harder on the mom than on the preschooler. He, of course, had a great time and can't wait to go back Wednesday. Hey guys! I cannot tell you how excited I am we will be singing at my home church this Sunday night! Incase you haven’t had a chance to view our schedule, we will be in Bennettsville , SC at Christian Fellowship Church . Service will begin at 6:30. If you would like to come worship with us and need directions, just drop us an email and we will be glad to give those to you. Please pray for us as we prepare our hearts and minds for the service. Our prayer is for God to anoint every song and testimony spoken out of our mouths, so that through HIM, we can offer hope and encouragement to those standing in need. Hope to see you there!! A few weeks ago, Joy sent out an email to a lot of our family and friends informing them that we were going to have a Yard Sale to raise money for equipment we are needing to purchase. We had an overwhelming response from tons of people donating items for the yard sale and contributing financially to the group. We are so thankful to each of you for your support and generosity to us. We wanted to let you know that we raised $669 at our Yard Sale this past weekend!!! We are so excited! This money will be used by Adoration as we start back out on the road to share the love of Christ in churches all over the Southeast. Words cannot express our gratitude to each of you for your love and support. We are also planning to do a new recording in the next few months so we would like to ask you to join with us in praying that God will provide the funds needed for this project and that He will anoint us as we go through a lot of the classic (and new) songs Adoration has sang through the years to come up with the songs we will record. I continue to be amazed the support that the group is receiving from so many people. I don't know why I'm surprised but I guess in my human mind I am humbled but in my spiritual mind I know that God is orchestrating everything. When we began talking about returning to road-life (with 3 husbands and 7 kids in tow), we were not sure how we were going to pull it off, how people would respond and even if we would be able to get any bookings. BUT, God is continuing to show himself faithful and I know without any doubt we are in the perfect will of God. It's not an easy road and I'm sure we will hit a few pot holes along the way, but I know that He is leading the way and I pray we continue to walk through any door that He opens for us. Well, we are on our way! This past weekend we had our first practice as the NEW group and had our first photo shoot. We cannot wait to get everything going. Our first weekend of concerts is August 23rd. That will be such an exciting day! It's definitely going to be a new adventure travelling with 6 kids under the age of 3 . . . Lord knows we need your prayers about that. We look forward to reaquainting ourselves with all our friends from the years. Check back often for Blog entries and Concert updates.
